What I was trying

The first idea for this site, before the Library. Every year I’ve made things gets a slice of a tunnel, newest at the front, and you scroll or grab to fly back through them. The year in view stays crisp while the past blurs and dims. An era rail appears when the camera is moving so you can see where you landed.

Where it stalled

Above a certain speed it is genuinely nauseating, and the depth-of-field filters are expensive on a laptop. It also hides everything except the year you’re in, which is the opposite of what an archive should do.
